You can check availability, make a reservation and pay securely online through our website. To do so click here. Alternatively if you are not sure about paying online, or want to send a cheque, you can make the reservation online and pay by sending a cheque to us. We can only hold your reservation for a short period of time however so please send us an email confirming a cheque is in the post.

Is payment online secure?
Yes, all credit card processing is dealt with securely through PayPal a credit card processor who  comply with the highest standards in credit card processing (known as PCI-DSS). We do not see or store your card details at all.

We have arrived early – can we check in before 3pm?
It takes a several hours to prepare the cottage for your arrival so in most cases unfortunately not.

Your departure time is 10am, can I leave later?
Unfortunately, we need all guests to depart by 10am in order to ensure that the property can be preparedy for our next guests.

Where can I get food from?
There are lots of small foods shops throughout the town centre including a Co-operative supermarket. However, if you want to do a fuller shop, we recommend either visiting Tesco (approximately a 10 minute drive away) or by ordering online and getting it delivered.  The Tesco supermarket is open 8 to 8 Monday to Saturday and 10 to 4 on Sunday. You can order online by clicking here. The cottage postcode is TR26 1NX (address 1 Island Square). If you are ordering on your day of arrival, please make sure that you schedule for the delivery for after you arrive otherwise you may not receive it.

For those emergency purchases, Norway Stores is less than 5 minutes away and is open every day of the week from early to late.

Do I need to bring my own towels or sheets?
No, we supply all guests with all bedding and towels. However, we do not supply beach towels so please bring your own and we request that you do not take bath towels to the beach.

About the cottage

Can I bring a pet?
Unfortunately we do not allow pets in the house.

Do I have to pay seperately for utilities (such as gas or electricity) or WiFI?
No, all bills including WiFi are included in your rent.

I am staying for two weeks, do I get a linen change?
Yes,  linen is changed once a week. So if you stay for two weeks you will get fresh linen on arrival and a change halfway through.

What facilities are available in your kitchen?
The kitchen includes an oven with grill and four hobs, a washing machine with built in tumble dryer, dishwasher and microwave. The kitchen is stocked with a full assortment of cooking equipment including pots and pans.

Can I smoke in the cottage?

No the cottage is strictly non-smoking.

Is there a garden?
Like most houses in St. Ives, 1 Island Square does not have a garden. There is a very small courtyard area but there is no room for chairs there.  Fortunately the harbour is only 20 seconds away, so if you want to soak up the sun, you can go to the beach and look across the beautiful St. Ives bay.
